Trouble in The Order - Nov - Dec 2020 was a solo exhibition held at The Wellington Gallery in Waterloo, Sydney.

The exhibition was a collation of 31 mixed media paintings created in reaction to the devastation imposed on many Australian communities as a result of the destructive bush fires of 2020 and the world-wide Covid19 pandemic with a focus on its detrimental effects on life as we knew it - including every day human freedoms, suffering and death.

As such, the exhibition, through its title, was created to inform the viewer there was indeed ‘Trouble in the Order’.

As Brendan Kelly’s dominant characters of the exhibition were transposed from the canvas into real life, his ‘sisters of mercy’ greeted guests adding an element of theatrical excitement to art exhibiting.
